[TUT] How To Use A Slave As A HTTP Proxy [TUT] - Jake Ekaj - Apr 25, 2012 1. Setting A Connection As A HTTP Proxy 1. Open and Start CyberGate 2. At the top, you are going to look for WAN / LAN 3. Now in that Category, you are going to want to look for an IP that is the same in both WAN (wide area network) and LAN (local area network) such as this one 72.190.62.182 / 72.190.62.182 (IP Changed For Security Reasons): If you see one that the WAN and LAN are not the same such as this one 72.237.182.183 / 192.168.1.120 (IP Changed For Security Reasons), Then this will not work, since that means that they are on a router. 4. So after we found an IP that has both the same WAN and LAN, we are going to Right Click on the Connection then go to Net Tools - HTTP Proxy - Start 5. Then it will ask for a Port. Type in 4500, and press OK. You are now done setting your connection as a HTTP Proxy in CyberGate! 2. A. The version of DRP is outdated and isint working anymore i have it on my pc but its no good ... i found that the only good reverse proxy anyone can find is the one that you`ll code yourself or buy for a lot of $.. * - lilo - May 7, 2012 Thanks for this very good tutorial ,I will try again but me i have blackshades ... * - Duginox - May 7, 2012 You forgot to mention that the port the user is supposed to connect through needs to be valid. In other words. The so called "slave", will need a port forwarded for you to connect to. * - Jake Ekaj - May 10, 2012 Glad this has helped some people, hopefully it helps more too. * - Osiris1717 - Oct 27, 2012 Good guide, thanks for the share.
