D3xus Upgrade Contest 4: Normal - L33t | L33t - Ub3r - D3xus - May 3, 2012 D3xus's Upgrade Contest 4: Normal - L33t | L33t - Ub3r
Welcome to my 4th upgrade contest for any normal or L33t member to win an upgrade to L33t or Ub3r. This contest won't be like others. It will be unique in it's own right. How do I win? This is a contest that doesn't require a lot of skill. Just time and energy. You need to answer one simple question, provided you already meet the requirements. The catch is that you can't use the word "High Quality" or any abbreviation thereof anywhere in your answer. Why can't I talk about me being HQ? To say you are "high quality" is to put a boundary or roof on your knowledge. Once you are "high quality," you would stop learning or absorbing knowledge. "High quality" is simply a label people use on things to categorize people who they like (or don't like.) The same thing goes for "low quality." Just a label. Plus, I want to see how many people can answer a question about themselves without using "high quality" or any conjunction of it. So what is the full list of words I can't use? There are more than this, but once you get the basic words, it should be obvious what you can and can't say. Banned words (Click to View) This is subject to change. Requirements Still with me? Here are the requirements.
The Question Why do you deserve ub3r/l33t over all other members? I hope to see some interesting responses. Good luck. * - DashPHP - May 3, 2012 That's upsetting, I can't enter the competition and I was quite exited for a free upgrade :/ Ohwell, good luck to who ever wins! - I do think that your requirements are a bit harsh! :( * - Angelic™ - May 3, 2012 nice contest brother Great contribution to the community !! :) * - D3xus - May 3, 2012 I don't want new members getting a free upgrade. I want people who have been with HF for a while and know their stuff. * - Angelic™ - May 3, 2012 (May 3, 2012 12:21 PM)D3xus Wrote: I don't want new members getting a free upgrade. It really makes people truly consider what their writing. Nice upgrade 😉 * - JustHayden - May 3, 2012 Well let me be the first to enter this contest! I have to be honest, I am not more deserving than a lot of the members on hackforums, but I do think I deserve an upgrade. When I first joined hackforums back in 2009, I was one of those annoying little 14 year olds you see all over hackforums and pissed a lot of people off, which is where most of my negatives came from. But over time I matured and became a better member around hackforums, and helped a lot of people out. Hackforums has helped me out a lot over various different things like grammar, respect...etc. I have been very active lately, and will be looking for ways to contribute daily. Nice requirements too, I'm sure you'll see some very qualified members take part in this contest! Also I do have one resolved scam report, but it was someone else pretending to be me, was not actually me. * - n00b.ca - May 3, 2012 Spoiler (Click to View) Count me out, I already got upgraded :D * - ven0m - May 3, 2012 Vouch for D3xus. I like this upgrade.Hopefully an worthy guy will be upgraded. Goodluck with the participants. ~ven0m * - D3xus - May 3, 2012 Thanks for the vouches, guys. And I hope to see some nice posts. * - JustHayden - May 4, 2012 (May 3, 2012 03:32 PM)D3xus Wrote: Thanks for the vouches, guys. And I hope to see some nice posts. Add some decent requirements and the thread disappears, how does that makes sense? * - D3xus - May 4, 2012 (May 4, 2012 12:44 PM)JustHayden Wrote: Add some decent requirements and the thread disappears, how does that makes sense?I lowered some of the requirements before. Now you just nee 500 posts and 25 prestige. But the year thing stays. And no. It doesn't make sense. 😶 * - Verts - May 4, 2012 Four months off of making the requirements 😭 * - tux1 - May 4, 2012 I have been an active member of this forum for about 3 years and plan on being here a lot longer. I regularly help people out in the beginners hacking section regardless of post count or rep. I would say that I am a nice and helpful person and will continue to be this way. I would really love to be upgraded as I desperately need more pm space and would like control over my threads. Check my posts and reputation to see how I have helped people out with their problems. * - michaelmhmhmh - May 5, 2012 Vouch for D3xus hes a great member, and good friend of mine! |
