Exit Tunes has also opened a teaser website for the new Vocaloid character. Artist Hidari created Mayu's character design. The concept for the new character is a "yandere" (a character who at first seems gentle but is actually mentally unstable and often violent) middle school student. The teaser website currently offers wallpaper downloads for computers and smartphones (pictured at right). With exception of the original illustration and logo, fans can use Mayu's image and name for derivative works such as goods and merchandise, clothing, food, games, cosplay, and fan works such as dōjinshi for free without needing to receive copyright permission from Exit Tunes. The music video for Mayu's first song "Kami Uta," composed by DJ UTO, was screened at the 10th anniversary event on Sunday. Additional information about Mayu will be announced at a later date. Yazawa is a part of the school's Facebook page, which offers a variety of videos showing how to draw body forms and character expressions, as well as inking and coloring techniques. Manga School Nakano is located in Nakano, Tokyo and offers courses for aspiring artists to develop and hone their talent. Recently, the school has started to work on an outline to offer courses in English, but final plans have yet to be announced. Prices for classes would vary based on the number of students, ranging from 5,000 yen (about US$62) per person for a 2 to 3 hour class of 5 or more to 15,000 yen (about US$187) for a solo class. The tentative schedule includes about 15 courses, covering industry procedures, how to draw characters and mascots, and ending with students finishing their own 4-panel manga and 4-8 page story. Manga School Nakano is located in the Nakano Manga Art Court. The building also houses doujinshi publisher Taiyou Shuppan. Students attending while in Japan will be given the opportunity to make copies of their finished original work at their on-demand printer. Yazawa is hosting a manga class trial on May 20. Those interested can RSVP via the Facebook event page. Waru Action Manga Artist Joya Kagemaru Passes Away Kagemaru's WARU inspired 2 Takashi Miike films; Karate Baka Ichidai made into anime Manga artist Joya Kagemaru passed away in his Tokyo home on April 5 at 9:48 a.m. due to pancreatic cancer. He was 72. Kagemaru's many works include the hard-boiled action series WARU (with martial artist Hisao Maki) and the martial arts series Karate Baka Ichidai (with manga creators Ikki Kajiwara and Jiro Tsunoda). WARU and its sequels inspired a dozen live-action adaptations, including two films directed by Takashi Miike. Karate Baka Ichidai drew inspiration from the real-life karate master Masutatsu Ōyama, and it spawned a 1973-1974 television anime series. Kagemaru's WARU collaborator Hisao Maki had just passed away in January. Kagemaru, whose real name was Minoru Kubomoto, was born in Osaka in 1940. He is survived by his wife Yoshiko. The end of the video suggests that a Version 9 is in development. K-ON Ending Speculation So with K-ON ending soon, there is quite a few wild ideas going around because of why and most being nonsense, but there is a few firm ideas that stand and one being the mangaka walked himself into a 'wall.' With the girl group starting University, it became more difficult to write stories for them, and some people claimed it wasn't "realistic" enough due to them not finding a love life; but I mean come'on, who goes to Uni to find love and not study? Pfft. The main problem was if the lovely Yui or Mio did gain a love interest, how would the crazy otaku fans react? Positively or? This was always going to be a problem and so the author was left with no more ideas. The ending is being discussed now and being decided on and the publishers have failed to comment on Azusa’s remaining manga too. So here comes the end of a moe era, seems like there's room for another moe anime out there, I wonder who will get the spot? Top 10 anime of Spring! So I present to you: "The Top 10 Anime of Spring 2012!" - Hopefully with this nice written list you'll find an anime you will like and get straight back into it. So with no further ado, here it is: 1. Hyouka 2. Fate/Zero 2 3. Accel World 4. Sankarea 5. Haiyore! Nyaruko-san 6. Kids On The Slope 7. Saki: Achiga-hen – Episode of Side-A 8. Space Brothers 9. Kore wa Zombie Desu Ka? Of The Dead 10. Kuroko no Basket Source: Sankaku Complex PS Vita game coverage: Blazblue continuum shift Extend With the release of the vita a few months ago, I thought it would be nice to make a game coverage regarding some of their games. Each week, one game. This week’s game is Blazblue: continuum shift Extend. This game is the second revamp of the original Blazblue continuum shift and contains a reconstruction of the story mode from Blazblue Calamity trigger, so that everyone is able to play the story from start to finish. Now, because this game came out for a portable console, many would think the graphics would be lacking. Think again. The game’s graphics are nearly, if not as, equal to a regular console’s such as the xbox. (HDMI cable quality not included in the before mentioned statement.) The new game also contains a total of 4 new characters varying from a Werewolf and puppeteer to a squirrel and a wonderful loli (trap). Gameplay from some of the older characters has also been redone and of course some new game modes were added too. Are you an animfan? Are you a gamer? You have a Vita? Go get this game~

School days really got to me. The ending was just so awesome, just thinking about a girl like Konoha makes me all tingly :3 Hell I would even enjoy Sekai, she wasn't as crazy though. Those are just some of the popular names that really made me like yandere. There's a few others, but I never really loved them till school days, I always just thought they were scary as fck. Then along came Yuno and at that time I knew for sure that I loved yandere. * - Ice Queen - May 14, 2012 Tasemu Wrote:Additional information about Mayu will be announced at a later date. Tasemu, Y U SO behind the facts!? T^T Ah well, seeming as I have been loving the Mayu character I will be nice.
