Info -
During the summer of 1979, a group of friends witness a train crash and investigate subsequent unexplained events in their small town. This includes dogs going missing, and certain electronics such as microwaves. After all this, the military takes over the city, and starts to search for this creature that landed on earth back in the 50's. Apparently this creature is causing all the events going on. While trying to figure all this all out, one of the kids friends 'Alice' goes missing. It is now up to the other four of them to go find her.

Opinion -
In my opinion this was a great movie! It had a lot of different things that mad it a good movie. I really liked that it kept you wondering what would happen next. This movie had a lot of scenes that surprise you as well. This movie also had a bit of comedy which to me was just perfect in the movie. I would suggest that you should watch the movie whenever you can, really nice thing to watch.

i got this film because i saw jj abrams on the cover, so figured i'd probably like it, not seen it yet though, sounds good.

i wasn't scared as such by this movie, but i did find it scarier than expected...if that makes sense?
yeah, pretty good film though.
the camera was annoying for a while, especially when it stretched the screen, but i found out from the extras that it was doing that because they were trying to emulate the super 8 camera.

I was suppose to see Super 8, but I don't remember why I wasn't able to. I guess I'll rent it out at Redbox and watch it w/ some friends this weekend.
