[TUT]How to root almost any android phone[TUT] - -ChuckFan4ever- - May 29, 2012 Hi HF users! This is my Rooting tutorial for you.I'm doing this tutorial with Samsung Galaxy Plus but it works almost every android phone. We are going to use sotware called SuperOneClick. This method doesn't work with every android phone but it works almost every android phone. So let's start. 1. Go here and download SuperOneClick: http://depositfiles.com/files/n0dcxce3t 2. After you have downloaded it extract it to your desktop. Or somewhere you easily find it. I have it on my desktop. Spoiler (Click to View) 3. Now we have it on our desktop. Now put your phone to USB debugging mode. Settings --> Applications --> Development --> USB debugging 4. Now make sure you DO NOT mount your SD card. Just in case if you have SD card, unmount it and take it out. 5. Now we are ready to start SuperOneClick. 6. Now we have SuperOneClick open. 7. Now plug your phone to your computer. 8. Then just click root. Spoiler (Click to View) 9. It takes a while, just be patient. 10. When it's done you should get this: Spoiler (Click to View) 11. Click no for root test. Spoiler (Click to View) 12. Now reboot your phone if it didn't reboot automatically. 13. When you have rebooted it, download root checker from Google Play. It should Superuser permissions, click Allow. 15. Now it should say: Congratulations! This device has root access! 16. Now you phone should be rooted successfully! Congratulations!! If you have something to ask PM me or post here. Always remember: I'm not responsible for any damage your phone. :) * - 8-Bit - May 29, 2012 I LOVE SuperOneClick. Used This One Almost All My Android Phones. Android > Apple >:( ;) * - -ChuckFan4ever- - May 29, 2012 (May 29, 2012 09:00 AM)syracuseduke Wrote: I LOVE SuperOneClick. I have been searching for ages for a method that really works. * - -ChuckFan4ever- - May 29, 2012 This method doesn't work with these phones: Sprint EVO 4G (HTC Supersonic) Droid Incredible (HTC Incredible) HTC Desire GSM HTC Desire CDMA (HTC BravoC) HTC Aria Droid Eris (HTC DesireC) HTC Wildfire (HTC Buzz) There might be other phones that doesn't work either, but these won't work. * - mtepper2 - May 29, 2012 When you say take a while, how long exactly do you mean? * - Im Cold - May 29, 2012 Is it normal if it stays on Step #7? The top of the bar says (Not Responding) I don't know if it is working though. Its on Waiting For Device * - -ChuckFan4ever- - May 29, 2012 It's completely normal that is says "Not respoding". And if it stays at "Waiting for device" do this: Unplug USB cable --> Turn USB debugging off --> Plug in UBS cable --> Unplug USB cable --> Check USB debugging --> Plug in USB cable. If that doesn't work try installing drivers again. * - William Murderface - Jun 13, 2012 how long does it take? my superclick is stuck on "starting ABD server" for like 20 mins now is that norm? * - Jokinha - Jun 14, 2012 it doesn't move after "Rooting device... - Step #7" * - Priizim - Jun 14, 2012 You may need to install the adb drivers and also the specific drivers for your phone Usually the drivers for the phone can be found on the manufacture website and as for the adb drivers.... google is your friend personally i use the sdk from google so that would be "sdk" in the search and it will be http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html good luck ...also a good idea that if you post an error include what phone you have.... chances are one of us have had experience with your model * - Leshrac - Jun 15, 2012 Hey I got a Galaxy Nexus which has no SD card port...What to do? * - -ChuckFan4ever- - Jun 15, 2012 (Jun 15, 2012 11:25 AM)AI Nexus Wrote: Hey I got a Galaxy Nexus which has no SD card port...What to do?
