5mW Green Laser Pointer - Silent. - Jun 14, 2012

hey guys, I want to buy this:
http://www.amazon.com/532nm-Astronomy-Powerful-Green-Pointer/dp/B0019D12WW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1339673724&sr=8-1&keywords=laser

But I'm not really sure if its legit and is it illegal in Australia? =/
Cheers.

Try calling up customs and ask them

I don't think you should even get this.

This review is from: Powerful Red Laser Pointer Pen Beam Light 5mW (Electronics)
I'll be honest, when ordering this item I had no idea the benefits it would reap. Now, with my brand new webcam (wait, what? Yeah, that's right) my new WEBCAM I get to chat with my family on Skype. I'm not entirely sure I wanted a webcam when I was ordering a RED 5MW LASER POINTER but it works. Long story short, I ordered a red laser pointer and received a webcam. I would not trust this company when buying anything from them, you just might not get what you want. < I lol'd so hard

I bought the exact same laser. I think lasers aren´t illegal in any country :). That´s a decent laser for that price but this is even better.

That has also two lights. UV light and a normal one. I really recommend that :)

Did you buy that and where do you live?

There are limits on lasers in countries actually.
I remember Australia only allowing lasers 1mW or less.
I suggest if you buy that, you do not use it outside at all.

So there shouldn't be any problems if I buy 5mW laser like fine or going to jail?

I bought both, the pen and the smaller one. I live in Finland and they shipped both for free without any issues. I really recommend the smaller one :)

I bought the same exact one, and I treated it perfectly. It just stopped working in maybe 2 weeks..

It's probably the driver as the diode is poorly soldered to the driver. An easy fix for this is to get a pair of pliers and re-solder it.

First of all, what you just said, is way to complicated.
Second of all, too hard.
Third of all, I only understood around 10% of what you said.

English please.
