pretty sure it looks like every other ipod. all I see is some squares, gradients and an ellipses. maybe try adding all of the detail of an ipod? instead of the regular shell.
would love to see a more detailed update.

I couldn't say that this looks like an iPod, but ok. You tried and I don't really know how experienced you are in creating icons.
I think this is not good, but it's practice and with practice you'll get there. If you're interested in good, HQ tuts on making icons, check out Tuts+ network.
