Progress of the uJDB server build! - Βαsιχ - Jul 2, 2012 We just purchased this server along with some other goods, it's on it's way over. We plan on building it up a bit more, currently the water cooling system is finished. Thanks to my friend IOS Dev for the help with this server. :) Few Specs: 6 core 64GB RAM 250GB SSD Some Pictures (Thanks IOS Dev): ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The old server will be used as a back up server in case of emergency or maintenance, we expect this to be functional in a couple days or so, along with the firewall, etc... all the good stuff. We plan on upgrading the server a bit more and upgrading it with an other SSD. I hope everyone enjoys this once were online and everything. =) * - FluMist - Jul 2, 2012 Wow you were not kidding when u said you bought stuff for it, I can almost afford the paid membership on uJDB :p * - ViN - Jul 2, 2012 Looks like your putting a lot of work on this. I will buy once you accept LR. 🤗 * - Alex™ - Jul 2, 2012 Wow that looks like allot of money. I hope it will be used for more than running your website. A rasberry pi could probably run your website you just need some good ddos protection. And thats allot of ram, how much did that ram cost you? I'll upload a pic of my water cooling in a min :D * - Βαsιχ - Jul 2, 2012 (Jul 2, 2012 03:36 PM)Alex™ Wrote: Wow that looks like allot of money. If anything we might host a new product if we decide to launch a new software in the name of uTech. :) * - Alex™ - Jul 2, 2012 Well heres a picture of a getto ac/heater i made with leftover parts i had from my pc: It uses a peltier cooler to heat it up or cool it down. There is a auto temp cutoff switch and a massive heatsink under the table :) It works amazingly well. * - Βαsιχ - Jul 2, 2012 (Jul 2, 2012 03:46 PM)Alex™ Wrote: Well heres a picture of a getto ac/heater i made with leftover parts i had from my pc: lol, that's actually pretty crafty if you ask me. :D * - V_Hustle_V - Jul 2, 2012 I like this man! Yeah just go register at http://uJDB.in/register.php to get started on your trial, I hope you like it. :) * - Lysergic - Jul 2, 2012 Wow, as if you need all that power dedicated to something that requires at least 400mb of ram on a fucking linux server. LOL! * - Daffy Duck - Jul 2, 2012 Hey, may I ask how you host a website/server on your own computer? * - Βαsιχ - Jul 2, 2012 (Jul 2, 2012 06:30 PM)Daffy Duck Wrote: Hey, may I ask how you host a website/server on your own computer?
