Protect Yourself Form DoS and DDoS! - RULE✓ - Jul 8, 2012

Yesterday i downloaded a new firewall called Comodo Firewall and it looks pretty good. It is supposed to protect your from all types of DoS and DDoS even though i recommend surfing the internet with TOR or a VPN whenever you can anyway. However if you are in a situation where someone has got your IP then this could help you out, especially if you are someone who has problems with changing your IP i suggest you download this. I spoke one of the customer support representatives about the firewall and this is what he said:

I haven't seen many posts about his anywhere on HF so i though i should share it with those who haven't heard or it!

Post bellow if you have any questions and i will try to look them up and answer them or post if you have had success/experience with this firewall.

I dont know if this will work. Could i test it out on you or something. Then you will know for sure, just like a 3 minute hit with your permission of course.

ok guys . i have 3 machines and i have a botnet so i installed it on one to test ts protection and here are the results

Attack of 3.87 Gbps
blocked ips 198 out of 220
Net speed reduces by19%

so it means it can block ddos but not fully .
so i think its better to use it because at-lest it protect us by some amount of ddos

So you just downloaded the free version or what, and once you do that it will protect you from so ddos?

i just downloaded the free version and yes it protect us but our Net speed reduces by19% .

DUDE THIS WORKS READ MY FIRST POST - I got my friend to test his 2gb ddoser, and it says 8337 intrusions blocked ?!?!? it fucken worked i didn't lose connection aswell , if your's does not work , i recommend posting on their forums or talking on chat, cause sometimes you need to configure differently, but usually it already comes With Blockage With DDoSers , Dos Attacks.

LoL sorry guys for saying but you can't defeat the DDoS attack, cause it's simply UDP , not port needed and it's like a bandwidth attack so this is shit. I tried this before.. I am wondering why they are like protect from "DDoS" probably lan or something.. Else in the 0,1% they could do some updates and found the solution?

It won't block it, it will crash your modem before the firewall can even block it.

Dont work there servers aint that strong and slows your bandwidth down by about 20%
