India Serving Problems - Omniscient - Aug 11, 2012
Seems the past couple days a few complaints are floating around that India is blocked.
I have not blocked India. I'm suspicious that we're blocked from the country's firewall.
If you are in India and HF doesn't work for you I need you to PM me your originating IP. If possible I'd like to see a traceroute as well.
For those who are in India and can access HF can you also please post along with what ISP you're using. It might help me narrow down who is blocking us.
But as far as I can tell from my end India is not blocked.

I am from India and there were no blocking except the normal downtime HF had. I am using Airtel ISP.

A lot of members said they were only blocked for a day, or at least the 2 Indian HF members I know.

Likely and if so then possibly they may need to collectively complain to the ISP. If it's one of the larger ISP's in India and it effects the site greatly for traffic I may need to offer some solution for them. Unsure though until I know more about the cause.

It seems blocked to other Indian's.
I was on Omegle with this Indian guy, and I asked him to join HF, and the site didn't work for him. So he couldn't join, obviously. :'(
Can you get in using a VPN?

Well I need to know more. Like traceroutes, pings, or anything like that. I have a feeling the ISP blocked our DNS.

List of ISP's in India.

Ltd,Alliance Broadband, Wishnet Broadband Service Ltd,Siti Cable Pvt. Ltd,Meghbela Broadband Pvt. Ltd,Touch Net-High Speed Broadband, BSNL broadband.
My best guess is "Reliance broadband" might have blocked HF.
