UnHackMe Opinions - Amagadwat - Feb 19, 2010

What's your experience with UnHackMe? Piece of shit or is it handy?

I used it a while ago but I had no hackerproblems so I turned it off. It seemed like it scanned my computer every startup after attempts too.

Quote:"Unhackme is an easy to use and very powerful piece of software that can identify and remove many of the currently known Rootkits. It has an easy to use interface so even the most novice of users will find using it easy to use."

I don't even think that Unhackme works properly, tested it and it allowed a Trojan free access to my test box.

looked hopeful but it's dodgy, im trying aviras anti-root kit.

It's good. IceSword is preferred.

Couldn't you just use a regular AV to detect rootkits? eg. Norton 360

I suggest this as well. It also serves as a task manager.
