I made a suggestion that you should try and reinforce the search bar and the next day I look at my profile the entire thread was not in my profile.
Is this a glitch?

If Staff deleted it, you will get a message saying the thread locked in you profile.

No, you'd see it was locked. You wouldn't see if it was completely deleted. You have more than 20 threads/posts in the junk section (viewing your profile), so it's likely that thread is one of them.
