I want to start coding! (Where to start?) - MakinMoves - Sep 7, 2012 What's up everyone? I've been pretty in-active for a while, but I've recently had some more time on my hands. I really want to start coding at a beginner level. I'm just not sure where to start language wise. If anyone has any tips post below or PM me. 🤝 * - Super Effective - Sep 7, 2012 I recommend you don't take anyone's language recommendation and figure out what you want by yourself. Everyone is going to suggest what they would want, so why not just figure out what you want and go with it? I hate how everyone needs to be spoonfed these days. * - kenjoe1230 - Sep 7, 2012 I agree with super effective its more about what you really want. But if you want to just know something that's easyish I recommend either python or lua as both are extremely easy to learn. * - Dr.Cooper - Sep 7, 2012 Visual Basic? :) I started coding from VISUAL BASIC. VB.NET Try it out. * - Stormageddon - Sep 7, 2012 learn ALL THE LANGUAGES, really though, everything, it'll help you in the long run. * - Tenacious - Sep 7, 2012 spend like 5 days, and try to follow some tutorials for like 5 different languages, see what you like, and choose from there. After you choose, don't jump between languages, stick with it until you're really good at it, or else you'll be a beginner for a long time. * - Hepic - Sep 8, 2012 Man i can help you learning languages. If need help, talk to me. * - A + - Sep 9, 2012 I would start out with Batch and HTML. That gives you the concept of coding. Then look into some other languages. * - warwolf - Sep 27, 2012 You are start a coding must be start of c . Because c coding is very basic level ,mid level or high level language. * - sethwilliam - Sep 28, 2012 im a noob too but ive heard PHP is easy and python * - James Kirk - Sep 28, 2012 I love python, started with it, and I still code it often, you should too :). * - Mouse❤️ - Sep 28, 2012 (Sep 7, 2012 05:24 PM)Super Effective Wrote: I recommend you don't take anyone's language recommendation and figure out what you want by yourself.
