HF News - Notification? - Яǝʌǝɹsǝ - Sep 16, 2012
How about a HF News Notification Bar?
When a new edition is posted, every member is notified just as they would be notified when they get a PM with the green bar at the top of the forum.
When you click on it, it goes away just as the PM bar does.
Seems like it would be a nice little feature just to give us a heads up on new editions.
Beats checking non-stop on Saturdays and Sundays to see if there is a new edition up.

It would be nice, but I think users should be able to disable it.

Doesn't even really have to be the "moment" it comes out.
Most members wont even be online when it's finally posted.
It just stops us from having to check time and time again on the weekend to see if a new edition has came out.

I don't even check the news. Maybe a option to be included in the PM would be needed.

I always wanted to post before 5 pages ale filled already. :) And almost every time I come on HF, I check News section for new editions(although I know they come out in 1 week intervals)

I suggest this not for people to get on the first page, or first five pages, but just so we know when there's a new edition rather than checking throughout the weekend only to be disappointed when we don't see a new edition. I actually enjoy reading the HF News.
