I thought that they cant get involved?
When I got scammed. Nothing happeneds ¬_¬. I lost $350, i posted proof in my thread and the scammer still lurks the forums today....
Or is it something new?

Well the thing is that. Staff usually ban scammers on there WILL. They check if he has multiple scam reports and if he is scamming people via pm so they usually rep fuck people than banning them

Staff only ban people they don't like. If they see a chance to ban someone they don't like they will take it.

I usually contact staff when i get scammed by a scammer who has too many deal disputes. They just tell me 1 thing to do. Read TOS. Edit: well the last scammer who scammed me got rep fucked and i m happy about it :D

I think they only ban the people without the donator awards and any other award you can buy. I do see why they can't ban everyone with a scam report but if the scam is over a certain undisclosed threshold then they should look into it, IMO.

Most of the scammers after scamming certain people start scamming them via pm. Thsi guy in my siggy scammed 3 people over 500usd including me. After long struggle i just managed to get him rep fucked but couldn't get him banned bcoz he has lots of badges and he will come back and rip others. But staff doesn't ban such guys..that is just sad

Nope, staff still don't care about the members here getting scammed. They ban on a whim or if the user blatantly admits to scamming.

Not true at all. I've witnessed a few members with the Red Ruby award and still get banned. If anyone remembers Legitti, he was perm banned twice with the RR award.

It's not that we don't care about the members being scammed, but there's not much we can do either. If the member admits it (on-site), we can take further action if needed.
