Will also accept ideas on something to charge him for at set up. Monthly fees preferred for obvious reasons. if I actually use any of these ideas I'll pay by pay pal. This guy will be paying a lot I dont mind giving you guys $100 or $50 depending on how much money your idea makes me. Any questions reply to this thread and no PMs please my phone is retarded. I'm doing monthly back UPS for them too btw * - Shatteringblue - Oct 11, 2012 I just PM'd you some ideas that I had. Check your inbox * - A-MAN - Oct 12, 2012 Well, sounds like a person who is willing to pay for every single thing.. Perhaps, install him an advanced FireWall. Also the installation of the security services they offer here: http://www.no-ip.com/ as it will sure help him. Install for him all the supporting software (.net framework 4, directX11, Java...etc)...etc. There are a LOT of things you can do to gain money from people like these.I have no idea about how much these stuff will cost, so i am sorry about this. Good Luck! * - Black Sand - Oct 12, 2012 1- install them any runtime packages they might require. Tht includes vc, java, vb 2- install them web media related softwares. Includes flash player and quicktime player 3- install them multiple browsers so they may auto-login to the same site [email etc] with multiple accounts 4- depending on what type of usage they intend for the setup, you may want to have to install them photoshop, mx flash, ms office, media players, audio-video editors, encryption softwares, matlab, apache server etc 5- schedule a monthly in-depth checkup of the whole setup to see if any trouble is likely to come 6- due to the excessively smart keyloggers and rats, you would recommend them to have the setup checked by you personally [youd need to check the registry, autorun entries, log files etc] to make sure of their data and privacy integrity 7- since you are also an electrician, you should advise them to have all their electric boards and connecting wires inspected too, so as to minimise the chances of short circuit etc |
