Simple UI Elements - Bad Meets Evil - Oct 17, 2012
First time doing anything related to UI. Constructive criticism so I can make something more unique next time.

Hopping on the bandwagon...
To many things are wrong, uneven, distored, or just don't even look good together.
Just going to recommend yu to read some tutorials and read up the basic fundamentals of user interface or user experience design.
Good luck.
tl;dr? Needs more detail and time put into them.

Yeah, this was my way of trying a few different types of elements to test things. Do you have any tips on fixing what you see as "wrong, uneven, and distorted"?

it could just be an optical illusion, the arrow in the circular knob looks a little uneven, other than that i don't know what to say because i don't know what you are trying to make this for

I think it looks good, nice and simple, more of a cartoony feel to it, which I love. The only downside however is the knob part. This looks so plain compared to the rest of it, which all has a specific design.

The font isn't good and all the element don't have the "real" look in them. I mean they look so...boring...and no realistic stuff.

Read and you will see that I am making it to practice designing UI. Also the arrow is perfectly centred to the knob.
