Handling multiple ssh servers/sessions - NeyZ - Nov 4, 2012 As some of you know I got several servers that I'm working on, Currently I got 13 servers wich need my attention (my own private servers not in it) however I got to the point where it is almost impossible to handle 13 sessions at one time. I takes me longer to login to 13 servers than doing the actual thing. I already installed keys on them (also to prevent bruteforcers) but ofcourse I also had to add a password to those keys. so, is there a way I can login to multiple servers at once? That I have to type the passwords is okay, but changing between clicking - typing - clicking - typing is taking a hell of a time. Thanks * - j3moeder - Nov 5, 2012 clusterssh should do the trick. (apt-get install clusterssh) * - terminal - Nov 5, 2012 (Nov 5, 2012 04:00 AM)j3moeder Wrote: clusterssh should do the trick. +1 for clusterssh, its exactly what I use! * - NeyZ - Nov 5, 2012 (Nov 5, 2012 04:00 AM)j3moeder Wrote: clusterssh should do the trick. Too bad I use windows on my main pc. However maybe buying a seperate server for handling those ssh servers or maybe something like the Raspberry pi would be an option for this. Definitly gonna check it out. Thanks both! :) btw, Een nederlander, cool 🤐 * - terminal - Nov 5, 2012 (Nov 5, 2012 07:06 AM)NeyZ Wrote: Too bad I use windows on my main pc. Thanks both! :) If your using Windows why are you in the Linux section? * - NeyZ - Nov 5, 2012 Because it was about ssh, And I don't think many people from the Windows section even know what ssh is. Also many people posting here are still using Windows I guess. Beside that, The *nix section is much nicer to post in than the windows section ;) Installed it yesterday and it is running fine. Thanks for the name! :) |
