Hide your Lastname on Facebook!

1.Goto Firefox -- Options -- Advanced -- Network -- Settings -- Connection Settings -- And choose manual proxy configuration.

2.Now Tick " Use This Proxy Servers For All Protocols ".

3.Put this proxy and port
Http Proxy : 202.70.136.142
Port : 8080

5) Put 202.70.136.142 on No Proxy for Box.

6) Now goto Account Settings, Delete Middle Name and Last Name. Then Save!

7) Bravo !! You Did It, Now Your Last Name Is Gone.

Last Name is a must, in some places..

i think There are some places FB allows only FirstName

And that proxy belongs to that certain place.

( I found out that proxy was on Indonesia, Jakarta )

What do you mean with this? (Not the most brightest person :P)

Since it's not working for me.

That's pretty cool man, I might do this later. It will help to make me not get DOXed.

Thanks for the screenshot. Might not work because I am at school at the moment. Will try it out at home. Firefox gives me the error: Connection is refusing connections.

Just checking, are you allowed to change back afterwards (going backwards)? Pretty cool tho!

Edit: It worked, thank's!

But I just want you guys to all be cautious, you are entering someone elses proxy server, and they might see what you are typing just so they can login to your facebook account and steal it (it's a risk).

So before you go do changes, put a simple password that doesn't put your account to risk, after you follow the guide and you're complete, logout and remove the proxy and change the password back!

Thanks for the reminders!

But this trick actually works 👍
