Photoshop CS6 Extended Issue - GSHonor - Nov 13, 2012 Every time I turn on my PC, I get this error saying that svchost.exe cannot be found and its in the Adobe32 folder in Appdata folder. If I just copy and paste a svchost.exe from another location and put it in that folder, will that work? Or will that become a problem?? * - webdev77 - Nov 13, 2012 Find the startup key in the registry and delete it. Svchost.exe is always a virus unless it's inside of the windows folder. * - GSHonor - Nov 13, 2012 (Nov 13, 2012 01:29 PM)webdev77 Wrote: Find the startup key in the registry and delete it. Yeah, I don't know how to do that. :( Help please. * - Cedar Hawk - Nov 13, 2012 https://hackforums.net/forumdisplay.php?fid=115 Go to that area of the forums, read the stickies, and then follow the procedures they lay out there. Someone from the Hijack This team will get to you as soon as they can :). They are all extremely well-trained and good at what they do; namely, identification and removal of anything that can harm your computer. EDIT: The reason I advise asking for the HJT team's help is that, even if you may be able to remove the surface of the issue with a guide, you won't be able to fully flush it from the system without some know-how. * - ryoh - Nov 13, 2012 Svchost.exe is a virus if not in windows folder. Take it out by going into the registry and deleting it. I suggest using a guide to do it, because if you do something wrong, you could fuck up your computer. * - GSHonor - Nov 13, 2012 Thanks, I think I found the issue since I searched for the folder in the registry and something popped about a script, so I just deleted that. :3 So far no issues with the PC. |
