What Got Me To Watch It:
Recently my buddy has been talking about the anime Yumeiro Patissiere. I normally don't watch animes that I feel are targeted for 6-14year olds but upon an unbearable amount of nagging I finally watched it and to my surprise after a forceful 3 or 4 episode I couldn't find a reason to stop watching it.

Summary:
This anime is a mixture of the hardships and fun one can have following there dream to become a patissier or patissiere. This anime centers around Amano Ichigo, a clumsy and air-headed girl who just can't seem to be good at anything other than eating cake. While her dream of being a patissiere seems impossible she will struggle throughout everything and try to make sweets that makes everyone's hearts jump with joy.

Characters: (6/10)
Alot of the characters found throughout this anime will remind of overused and excessive personalities that can be found anywhere, however even with alot of bland characters you can still get attached to them.

Animation: (9/10)

The animation seen throughout this series is adequate at best when doing anything other than cooking. However the animation used to make the cooking scenes appealing, delicious, and realistic more than compensate for everything else.

Story: (8/10)
While this anime may be childish its ability to turn the story into something even adults can enjoy is one of its strongest points, I typically find animes that aren't specifically targeted for my age group hard to watch while this was interesting and shows great progression in character growth. Once you start you won't stop.

Enjoyment: (9/10)
This anime is quite enjoyable and has a slight re-watch value. The struggle to get from amateur to pro is an extremely fun watch which combines comedy with moral values and of course serious struggles as well.

Overall: (9/10)
I was barely willing to start this anime and had no desire before being forced to watch it, however after a few episodes I COULD NOT STOP. This anime has taken me over a tour of patissiers and makes my mouth water with all sweets I got see. While childish the adult appeal is still there.

I recommend this series!

Hehehe :) I got a sneak peek of this before hand and i will say it again. This review was both amazing to read and had a certain charm to it. I loved this review and i might go watch this anime!

But alas this might turn out to be another "To be watched" (going on 70 ._.)

This is exactly the only reason why I got addicted to cooking animes, once you start you can't go back.

These are the ones I watched:
Yakitate!! Japan
Cooking Master Boy

They have that strange addictiveness that you generally get when you watch an over-exaggerated cooking show. Try them out :D.

Seen both and loved both. I recommend you check out "Mr. Ajikko" (not sure if spelled right). I will say its worse effect wise and finding a good subbed version is hard but it is a good anime with I think 70ish episodes.

At least it's not in your face reverse harem. There isn't much love development in the series at all. Comparing to other shoujo and RV it's much better
