I used True Crypt on some files I need but I can't remember the password, what should I use to get the files or the password back. (Yes I am trying to hack my own files, I'm just an idiot who forgot his password)

How would he brute a file with no encryption? Most likely that the program does NOT save encryptions of passwords.....
