[TuT] How to change your IP Address or make a fake generated IP Address [TuT] - Racism - Dec 20, 2012

this is only my second post. if this doesnt work for you please dont hate. it worked for me though.

How to Change IP: go to this link 192.168.1.1

Usually the username is Admin. use the password you used for accessing your router. then when you log in, on the top go to MAC address clone. click enable, or disable. both of those give you 2 different IP's.

How to generate a fake IP: download item from torproject.org. what this is, is a browser which keeps you anonymous. it generates a fake IP for you. [warning it is slow though]

This is not a fake ip address. Its a real ip address, just not your own.
Tip specifiy exit nodes, and you can get a ip address of most countries

A router's LAN IP will not always be 192.168.1.1.Tor is just a few thousand proxies, and each one is a computer which is not fake.

Both methods don't change your internal lan ip, but the OP hasn't done research on this either and it's very lq.

Tor is just a proxy that hides your wan ip and the other method spoofs your routers mac address so the your wan ip changes too.

Hey guys, the ones saying that Tor does change your IP completely. the thing is, when im IP blocked from making an account on a website, Tor doesnt help me. the website still recognizes my normal IP. if you know why that happens, be sure to help me. thats why i stated "Fake generated IP." if im wrong, just know... no one is perfect

There are methods (in php in example) to request your real ip, even if you use a proxy.

i read in net that you can choose your ip address by spoofing. is it right?

theoretically it is possible to spoof your IP (in example by using a VPN), but if some1 wants to find out your IP he will in the end.
