Hacking with and learning the command line
When text is italicized, it represent the command syntax.
First steps:

What is the command line, or CMD?

Well, I'll start off by showing you how to get to it.

Either: Hit the icon for it that looks like this: [Image: O058q.png]

Or:
1) Press the Windows/Start Key
2) In the search bar, type in "Run"
3) Click on Run
4) Type in "CMD" and hit enter

This should show up:

Now that you have the terminal running, I am going to show you the commands that are usually available and used.
Note: When there is a need for the syntax of a command, just use this equation and enter it into the terminal:
[Base Command] [Sub-Command] /help

Net Commands

The first set of commands I will show you are the net base commands. These offer a wide range of uses and are more specifically associated with your network and users.

net help - Net help displays all of the sub-commands associated with the net command.

net accounts - Net accounts will allow you to manipulate the setting for accounts on your computer.

What you can do with net accounts:

net accounts /forcelogoff {minutes | No} - Allows for you to set an amount of time that the account may be logged on or you may completely disable this utility.

net file {ID} {/close} - See above

net localgroup
Net localgroup modifies local groups on computers. When used without options, it displays the local groups on the computer.
