Hope Someone Could Help me with this, Thanks !🙂 * - Yui Asuna - Jan 12, 2013 I think WebClient is just a wrapper of WebRequest, so both of them will works the same. You should use RegEx to get the URL, search this on MSDN, I don't know it works. As soon as you get the picture URL, just download and put it in a picturebox. * - scoder - Jan 12, 2013 (Jan 12, 2013 08:37 AM)PsyCh0TyK Wrote: I think WebClient is just a wrapper of WebRequest, so both of them will works the same. Yea it's so easy to download a picture to a picture box but it's hard for me to use new method "REGEX" i'll search for this and check it Anyways, Thanks Brother for your help!! * - Yui Asuna - Jan 12, 2013 Code Dim input as String = New WebClient().DownloadString("URL goes here")Made this outside the IDE, I used an expression found on the web, don't know if it'll works. * - TrackPro+ - Jan 12, 2013 (Jan 12, 2013 09:03 AM)PsyCh0TyK Wrote: You're not understanding him, he's trying to get the images, but when he tries to download the source, it is giving him a different source from the element he is inspecting. * - scoder - Jan 12, 2013 (Jan 12, 2013 09:25 AM)KungFuuPandaa Wrote: You're not understanding him, he's trying to get the images, but when he tries to download the source, it is giving him a different source from the element he is inspecting. Depends on what you're trying to do, are you just trying to find a easier way for you to download these images or are you trying to do something else? 😝 * - Lambasoft - Jan 12, 2013 Mate, the page is generated through the javascript : http://ex.fm/static/js/app.js?1357945440 In order to get the pictures you must reverse engineer the script. And of course go for web requests, everyone telling you else is an ignorant. * - Yui Asuna - Jan 12, 2013 Oh yeah, sorry for my mistake. I'm trying to get the image source, but I think it give you a different source because the music selection (where there are the pictures isn't HTML based, maybe Javascript ? EDIT: Lambasoft beat me :( * - TrackPro+ - Jan 12, 2013 Lambasoft & PsyCh0TyK, he already know where he has to go, but he just need help getting the URL of the pictures from there. * - li0nsar3c00l - Jan 12, 2013 why dont you grab the sound cloud link from the page and download it from there? edit: im working on an example * - scoder - Jan 12, 2013 (Jan 12, 2013 10:27 AM)KungFuuPandaa Wrote: Lambasoft & PsyCh0TyK, he already know where he has to go, but he just need help getting the URL of the pictures from there. This is what i need !! OMG :| * - milkshakes - Jan 12, 2013 Webclient or webrequests won't help you there. I guess one possible way is to go through another source and take the song name and artist to find a relevant picture. |
