Well, it may be the end of an era for Blockbuster in the US, as Dish Network have recently announced that they will be closing 300 stores in the near future, which would mean around 3,000 jobs would be lost.
This announcement comes after the UK branch of Blockbuster filed its own bankruptcy, which then lead to 160 store closures out of 500 in the region.
So if you use Blockbuster's services to buy, or rent games; you may want to change your supplier. As time can't tell what will happen with Blockbuster in the future.

Old news. They were going bankrupt last years and talked about it years ago. Their online streaming failed horribly for them so best they could do is sell the company or merge with a new one.

Its sad to see them go considering all the memories I have of walking around those stores searching for movies :)

Blockbuster seems to be going down here in Australia as well T_T
