Known this method for a while, does work but you will have to provide photo ID to Hostgator.

Tbh. I did not have to provide anything. After getting 10 likes I just got my domain for free.

After getting 10 likes You get a link which takes You to the site registrator.

This is the sickest thing I've seen. I had same problem, but after having like 5 visible likes, it said that I got 12 already which was enough. Just make sure that ppl like Your project and everything will be fine.
