WEP is the weakest of encryptions and can be cracked in a few minutes due to well known weaknesses in the encryption algorithm allowing one to manipulate the router displaying it's encryption technique.

You'd be surprised, I had 2 neighbors within good signal range using WEP in one neighbor I lived in. And currently have recently moved and their is still one moron using it.
