I've seen this happen several times and I'm not sure if staff have misunderstood the thread or if it's actually against the rules. This has nothing to do with selling in game items for in real life money or currency such as PayPal, LR or any other online currency holder.
I'd like to double check and make sure that staff understand what I mean by this so I'll give an example, the picture below shows a Runescape page and on the right hand side we have the inventory. In the inventory I've split two parts, the left and the right. The left hand side contains the in game money and the right hand side contains in game items such as, pixaxes, iron, tin and copper ores.

What I'm wondering is are we allowed to sell Runescape in game items for Runescape in game money, all in game trading and once again, this has nothing to do with online currencies, I've seen several people get banned for this and adding to that if we do post these "trades" in the virtual section we won't get it noticed, also the virtual section has several virtual in game gold being sold but we're not looking to sell in game gold, we're looking to trade in game items for other in game items, like make a thread of some sort that members can trade in.

Vouch, I have seen this issue multiple times with staff.
You should be allowed to sell in game-to-game items for game currency.

Theres alot of confusion around this, as it is virtual I think it goes under that tab.

Yes, I know but we're not selling the virtual items and the virtual items contain several other games gold or items being sold such as fifa coins or private server gold or items.

I think it still should go under virtual good section, as this Section would get spammed with mass trading threads.

There's no set rule against it(At least I can't see one) but if members are getting banned for it, it would be best to clear it with a staff member. But obviously under the virtual section.

If they're doing game to game items i think it stays in the RS section, but if IRL money is involved, virtual items section.

Someone in the Teamspeak channel got banned for 3 days, for trying to sell in game items for in game gold.

Because it would be up to the Admin/staff to decide the rules.

That section doesn't attract a lot of Runescape attention, noway near enough sadly.
Let me put it this way, people in the Minecraft section seem to be allowed to trade enchanted pickaxes for Minecraft in game gold or other items but in the Runescape section you get banned for it.

You should confirm with them that you're allowed to sell RS items, or at least let people know you are selling RS items, but only for In-game money/trades.

If you're doing exclusively in-game items for in-game cash/items, there should be nothing wrong.
