I don't think you can with wireshark.
I'm sure there's a couple programs out there you can use which will spend time scanning packets from the network which will eventually crack the Wep key.
I think WPA is much harder to crack and your best bet would be some sort of bruteforce.

Well if I am in LAN, can i use wire shark to see the chat conversation? if so how can we sniff it??

I'm pretty sure that you have to already be connected to the network for wireshark to work which would mean that it's useless for actually cracking the password. You are better of trying to brute force it.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

you can crack wpa/wpa2 wifi passwords by aircrack it is not really heard. It will be best if you run aircrack-ng in kali latest. For this attack you just need Kali linux and a compatible wifi adapter. If you are intersted in this attack mail me at [email protected]
