How to make a computer turn on and turn back off! Hilarious! - sup3r501d13r - Dec 19, 2007 If you go into the BIOS settings of a computer, you can change the settings to make the maximum temperature of the computer 40 degrees. Now, it will turn off as soon as it is turned on. Hilarious! I don't know how to fix it from the computer without taking out the hard drive haha :D. - Skittles- - Dec 19, 2007 this won't work on all pc's though will it :P - 4mattc - Dec 19, 2007 nope some wont allow u to change the temp - Skittles- - Dec 19, 2007 not that good then lol :) - 4mattc - Dec 19, 2007 but iz funny if u can do it - Skittles- - Dec 19, 2007 yeah i guess lol - 4mattc - Dec 19, 2007 just get a old computer and do it... like a lot of schools and make them pay you to fix it thats what i do when i'm low on money... lol just turn off virus scan and a few months later fix the virus and turn it one money money money money - Raseilord-Rika - Dec 19, 2007 just make a shortcut with the system shutdown tool in the start up. set it to restart every 2 seconds. so as soon as someone logs on it restarts. so on an so forth. - 4mattc - Dec 19, 2007 that would work... what i did to a mean teacher i had was create a batch file that opened billions of internet explore windows everytime she logged on. lets just say we all had good grades until they fixed.. i think the guy just reloaded everything took him about 2 months though lol - Stamgren - Dec 20, 2007 I can change the temp on my computer but lol I'm so not going to try it. :P - 4mattc - Dec 20, 2007 yeah i wouldn't lol - Ghozt - Dec 23, 2007 hahah nice1 - HayzE - Dec 24, 2007 wow lol... at least u could heat urself up if u was cold :D - xantos - Dec 24, 2007 I think disconnecting the hard drive wouldn't help. The BIOS is an EEPROM, it is a chip at you motherboard with a memory. All the settings are stored inthere. So I think you will have to buy a new motherboard or put a WC or a bigger fan at your CPU. - Port Scanner - Jan 11, 2008 lol i did it to my mom |
