Well i just logged on to AWM and i saw this new announcement which says:

Deceptive or misleading advertising such as fake sweepstakes, fake files, or other fake rewards is strictly prohibited
The word "free" cannot be used with email submits or SMS/PIN subscription campaigns, including domains, such as "free-iphone.com"
Publishers may not engage in any SMS/MMS ("text message") marketing without written approval
Traffic from malware, adware, spyware, or any related software is strictly prohibited
Adult traffic or traffic from any sites/files that infringe upon copyrights or trademarks is strictly prohibited

Email Marketing Promotion Requirements
All email marketing must have functional unsubscribe mechanisms, load suppression lists when available, and comply with the Can-Spam Act of 2003
All email recipients must be double opt-in subscribers
All custom email creatives need written approval
Direct Linking Requirements
Any direct linking to our campaigns through social media sites, email marketing, or other public sources must use a short link service or our short tracking URL.

That means end to fake files niches? 😭 now they're gonna ban members or what? or thats just a show for advertisers?

Yes I also saw this today when I logged in on AWM. Lets see I might be switching to foolish once again.

* - insp3ctor - Mar 18, 2013

Well if they are gonna take this seriously I'm just gonna stuck with fileice too, just hoping one day I won't see similar announcent on Fieice.

* - #Realtalk. - Mar 18, 2013

God damn i guess its time to move to filefire or fileice then.

#Realtalk. šŸ¤

How many advertiser actually allows the? If you sell a product, do you want most of your traffic coming from fake files?

If an advertiser complains the company has to do something to keep them.

* - Carebox - Mar 18, 2013

Really, you never could advertise fake files. None of you read the TOS so you didn't know.
Its almost no where allowed. If they are going to start watching it, ill be switching over. for now im good.

* - PoS3!DoN - Mar 18, 2013

well i have some niche on adworkmedia...But now i am making switching to file ice....

* - brandon fury - Mar 18, 2013

Ahh fuck, time to move back to File1ce ...

* - hKRASS - Mar 18, 2013

Maybe they just recognized things gettin out of control... Just change your strategy a bit. I like it, because most newbs spreading all the same shit will disappear. Think about more grey/whitehat methods, imo thats even better. If you managed to get there, u succeeded!

Well, there goes two of my domains..

Would it be ok if I was promoting a password to a program rather than a straight up fake program?

* - Capricious - Mar 18, 2013

this sucks man, i am sure AWM will loose a lot of users since many of us use fake files.

This only applies for campaigns, so I'm going to assume link lockers and content lockers etc. are still allowed. :D

* - Chris CPA - Mar 18, 2013

Yeah im still going to take my chances with AWM.

* - Volation - Mar 18, 2013

Made so much... And so much hard work on the programs I made... I'm not editing the programs to change the link

* - FisKer - Mar 18, 2013

SO taking the risk? I just switched one of my niche to FI , if it doesnt work well i will come back to AWM
