[Requesting] A+, Network+, Security+ Reading material - Human Skulls - Mar 19, 2013

Hello everybody,

I just enrolled myself in 3 classes for certifications gearing up my career into the cyber world. I'm curious if anybody has any good reading materials on these classes? In return, I will be posting all the information I possibly can back to hack-forums that I receive from the school.

I've got A+ pretty well personally, but terminology is where I lack information.

Networking+ I need a full descriptive article.

And finally, does anybody have the CompTIA 2009 security+ certification pretest or some reading material for the cert?

Hey! I would appreciate all I can get my friend. I'll send you a email you can send it to.

Have you gotten any certificates / education in network related fields? Out of curiosity.

Usually when I study for my certs, I download all the materials from torrent sites. I am not talking about cheat sheets here, but things like videos and books.

I've passed two exams so far.

All of the certifications are massive. I had the A+ hardware and software book in one. It was huge. Look for the eBooks online.

Pretty sure Bush has the hardback book. Maybe not. Either way, check torrent sites.

yes, unfortuneately I read a post wrong, and was not clear that it was a physical book. :/

I would like to have a hard copy though. I may have to simply go to a library for quality reading materials.

Looks like my best bet for now. If you have any suggested books please let me know.

Personally, if you can afford something like TrainSignal's learning center (believe its 60 a month) you should look into that. It unlocks pretty much all the certifications you'd really be aiming for and more, full video guides, written items, terminology sheets, etc etc - Plus practice exams built on the current tests out to this date.

Here's a list of what they offer;
https://www.trainsignal.com/Browse

Here's a good link for a site (specifically linking A+) that helps with prep'ing you for the tests;
http://www.proprofs.com/certification/comptia/a-plus/practice/index.shtml
They have a good system that shows you the reasoning to why answers are what they are. They combined questions from current to past tests for each certification they have.

This website just did it all. Thankyou, this is absolutely amazing. It has so much material. I will be using this for much more than my certifications. You're the man.
