Blackhat activity - videinfra - Mar 25, 2013 So as I was reading through the ToS, I saw that a lot of blackhat activity has been disapproved for posting on these forums. Understandable, scamming/stealing from people is not cool. As I start browsing through the marketplace, people are posting multiple stolen steam/origin accounts up for sale and not even trying to hint away from the fact that they hacked the account and stole it from someone. So how is this better etiquette than the people who crack an algorithim for gift cards and post them for sale? In my opinion, stealing some profits from a company is better than stealing from a single person. I'm sure I will receive some hate for this, especially from the people hacking accounts and selling them for less than what the original owner of the account paid for one game. Oh well. Just my views, some others have to see this way too. * - Percocet - Mar 25, 2013 Your logic is so flawed... "Lets steal a few hundred dollars from a company instead of one person" It's the same thing... Example, stealing from Microsoft, means stealing from Bill Gates. * - Tοny - Mar 25, 2013 Your aloud to sell hacked/stolen steam accounts. If your stupid enough to let someone take your account then it should be taken. * - videinfra - Mar 25, 2013 Of course two people with thousands of posts and high reputation on this forum reply to defend the act of stealing from people. You also realize that Bill Gates has BILLIONS of dollars, and the people you steal accounts from probably have THOUSANDS of dollars or less, right? Tony, you shouldn't talk about intelligence levels when making that many grammatical errors. If my logic is flawed as KILLER stated, then Tony, your logic is to the point of retardation. Might as well say, since I'm bigger than you, I have the right to rape your asshole and take everything you own, and then generously murder you. I am guessing that is about the extent of moral obligations you have for others, anyway. Enjoy. * - betamonkey - Mar 25, 2013 (Mar 25, 2013 05:36 PM)кıʟʟᴇʀ Wrote: Your logic is so flawed... "Lets steal a few hundred dollars from a company instead of one person" Since when is stealing from a company stealing from an individual? Most of them have contracts. Bonuses and salaries are not affected just because someone steals a bunch of money from them. Also, Bill Gates is a lot less involved in Microsoft now. So even if that were the case, it would probably be Steve Ballmer instead. * - Tοny - Mar 25, 2013 (Mar 25, 2013 05:53 PM)videinfra Wrote: Of course two people with thousands of posts and high reputation on this forum reply to defend the act of stealing from people. Logic > spelling, if you think you need perfect grammar and spelling to be smart then you need to go fuck yourself.. And the reason that it's okay to sell steam accounts is because the people that previously owned them have a chance to get them back. Selling cc's is something that is easily tracked and can lead to jail time, no feds have showed up at my door for cracking a few steam accounts.. * - videinfra - Mar 25, 2013 Yes, all it takes is logic to realize from the two posts you have made in this thread show that your intelligence is lacking. Being smart is not googling, "How to be a script kiddie and steal from people because working at McDonalds is too complicated" When you can make a real thought come to life let me know. And of course you admit that you hack accounts and steal from people. You must be living the good life down in that basement. You seem to not grasp the idea I was going at by creating this thread. Virtual Credit Cards (VCC), Gift Cards and Virtual Bank Accounts (VBA) We understand that there might be a valid purpose and use for these discussions, but we've decided to remove them from HF in an effort to stay on a more legitimate topic level. Minecraft Any discussions on the stealing, cracking, trading, selling, or buying of Minecraft accounts. This includes programs designed to steal/crack MC accounts. No account giveaways or requesting free accounts either. These are taken from the ToS. So, hypothetically, trading my legit Minecraft account or Wal-Mart gift card is WAY more conflictual than me saying, "I stole some dude's entire collection of PC games, and I'm here to sell it for 5 bucks. lul i'm l33t" * - ASLR - Mar 25, 2013 I see what you are saying. It is kinda irritating when some types of stolen account are able to be sold here but others are not. Especially when you only sell the ones that are considered blackhat on here T_T * - Doncaster Rovers - Mar 25, 2013 I see your understanding but stealing in general is just not a good thing to do. * - Tοny - Mar 25, 2013 (Mar 25, 2013 06:36 PM)videinfra Wrote: Yes, all it takes is logic to realize from the two posts you have made in this thread show that your intelligence is lacking. You don't really get this site, making fun of me because you're wrong isn't going to get you anywhere. What were aloud to sell and what we aren't has nothing to do with etiquette, If omni didn't get anal raped by the feds over what we sell then we would be able to sell a lot more.. * - ASLR - Mar 25, 2013 (Mar 25, 2013 06:45 PM)Tοny Wrote: If omni didn't get anal raped by the feds over what we sell then we would be able to sell a lot more.. Yeah, I guess it's probably better in the long run to have a limit on what we can sell rather then us getting anal raped by the feds too :/ * - de morte hominis - Mar 25, 2013 Everyone on HF just wen't full retard, cracking steam accounts or any type of account is a BlackHat activity OP just wanted to compare how people frown upon selling gift cards but not cracking accounts which could even have credit cards attached like on steam. * - videinfra - Mar 25, 2013 (Mar 25, 2013 07:16 PM)Mehzy Wrote: Everyone on HF just wen't full retard, cracking steam accounts or any type of account is a BlackHat activity OP just wanted to compare how people frown upon selling gift cards but not cracking accounts which could even have credit cards attached like on steam. ^ This. As The Sween said, stealing in general is not good. I agree with this for the most part. (ie. my take on big business loss vs personal loss) Taking away some marginal profit spread across an entire company that is plagued with greed is far different from stealing several hundred dollars worth of games, cash, or whatever else from someone who could potentially be living in poverty. Huge companies like Wal-Mart do not pass the wealth down the chain of employees, the few at the head of the business buy another vacation home or buy a bigger yacht when they have a good year of business and still have more money than they know what to do with; while their employees who keep their business afloat fight to pay bills on a weekly basis. I'm getting too deep into the situation now. Just needed to prove my point against KILLER. Also, I like how I got uprepped for this thread. Thanks whoever did that 👍 * - BigDickBandit - Mar 26, 2013 I see your understanding but stealing in general is just not a good thing to do. |
