Backtracing DDoS attacks? - Frederik200 - Apr 10, 2013

Hello HF

Currently I have an arsenal of a hundred servers with 1gbps each with intention of DDoS'ing and my question is as following;
Will the government's agencies (CIA, Mossad etc.) be able to trace DDoS attacks back to my computer (the computer is using a VPN, ofcourse) ?

I'm not sure. I don't think so because of your VPN and because DDOS is distributed; meaning lots of people are taking part. I think anyway

Yes check my thread posted by me , that will show you its easy to be traced even with protection

The servers is'nt located where I live but in a foreign country.

DDoS is from many home computers that may be infected and force to do so. Or VPS's. There untraceable to the original source unless you look through every individual IP.

DoS is 1 person attacking. Usally a newb who found LOIC. If he has no VPN he can be easily traced back. But with VPN with no logs theres nothing u can do. Or if he's DoSing from a VPS then u have to talk to the provider and see if they can get you some IP logs.

Oh, okay.

I'm running with my own VPN (my IP is being rerouted through an external server overseas) and I'm a 100% sure that the internet provider doesn't leak. Isn't that most secure all in all?

no, you are retarded OP stop ddosing dumbass government sites. i doubt you have 100GBP/s worth of power

Why do you think I'll DDoS government sites? The government agencies mentioned is for examples, and just to clarify that if they backtrace it, they could (or could not) backtrace it to me.

Regarding you doubting the 100gbps, ok.

See if theres any dns leak test and make sure ur VPN keeps NO LOGS at all. Also if anything use a proxy on ur browser if ur hacking with ur browser.

Make sure to use spoofed attacks (SSYN, SUDP, etc) on your servers and it's VERY unlikely for them to track it back to your servers, let alone your IP.

VPNs aren't perfect. If they're wiretapped or keep logs, it is 100% possible.

I suggest 2 VPNs, or a VPN and 1+ proxies.

just who are you ddos'ing that the CIA would backtrace and come to your country -.-

Exactly the same question I'd like the answer to.

You don't need to be worried about being traced unless you are DOSing, if you are DDOSing you don't really need to worry much about that since they are from addresses away or different than your own. (unless when you send the commands and such)

I would love to see a dstat of your firepower.
If you're asking this, then you're not competent enough to personally obtain the servers you speak of.

* - Sonics - Apr 11, 2013

Nice, how did you obtain the servers though?

I would launch the attack through chained cracked servers on a VPN. Don't do it on your own machine.

Again, that was just an example. The question could also be if anyone could trace it back to me.
