In my opinion would be great addition if users could search without writing any search terms. I mean, if you could just put a prefix (like 'source') and then search. Let's say you want to find c# sources, you could just set a prefix to source and 'Search in Forum(s)' to C# Programming language and hit search and you could find all the c# sources in HF. I noticed this when I tried to find good c# tutorials.
Now when I try to search without any terms it says
You did not enter any search terms. At a minimum, you must enter either some search terms or a username to search by.
Lol, sorry if I'm misspelling, hopefully somebody understood.

Man, HF is so modded It's hard to even call it mybb anymore. Either way, Omni could code this easily... switch the if statement.

Not as easy as you think because our search is done via Sphinx search. I have to take a day to redo parts of it eventually as it's not 100% working as it is. Part of what has to be fixed is that thread prefix searching doesn't work at all.

Hmmh. Well, I don't know about MyBB / it's addons but if it's possible to get working it would be great. :)
