There are other factors u need to know before trying to get into the database...
like is server shared or dedicated , if it is shared are there any other vulnerable website on the server , is the wordpress standalone or is it just a blog for official website and so on...

The best way to hack Wordpress is usually to find a vulnerability in extensions. To my knowledge, there are very few public WordPress exploits.

You can manually check or scan if your lazy for running WP plugins and run exploits against them.
