About these contests:
Each contest will contain at least one challenge/puzzle to be solved for a prize and prizes will vary for each challenge! :D
About this contest:
There are 5 challenges for you HF!
Each challenge varies from easy to hard difficulty, but the harder = more prize $$! :D
The goal is to successfully decode the cipher-text of the challenge.
Each challenge will provide 3 example inputs(message) and their outputs(cipher-text) and then the final cipher-text to be decoded.
Post your results below and if correct, you will be rewarded with the prize $$ of that challenge! :D
Rules:
- You may enter/attempt all challenges!
- You only get two guesses/attempts per challenge!
- Entering more than two guesses/attempts per challenge will disqualify you from that challenge!
- Once a challenge has been completed/solved, details on how that challenge was made will be updated in the thread!
- If you have won the challenge, you will be payed the amount of that challenge's prize $$ via PayPal!
- The contest will end by June 21st or once all challenges have been completed!
- Only one hint will be given publicly per challenge!
- Have Fun! 🤗

How the algorithm works:
Input: Hello
Note: The process of generating the letters is a bit complicated, so i will just show how to decipher it.
Output: R;Z/u;z/n;z/n;z/k;z
Info: ; = subtraction, : = addition, / = separator
( a=1, b=2, c=3, d=4, e=5,f=6,g=7,h=8,i=9,j=10,k=11,l=12,m=13,n=14,o=15,p=16,q=17,r=18,s=19,t=20,u=21,v=22,w=23,x=24,y=25,z=26)
R;Z = R - Z = 18 - 26 = 8 = H
u;z = u - z = 21 - 26 = 5 = e
n;z = n - z = 14 - 26 = 12 = l
n;z = n - z = 14 - 26 = 12 = l
k;z = k - z = 11 - 26 = 15 = o
Input: Hello
(If you want to know how the letters are generated, just ask and i'll be happy to explain the process :D)
*SOLVED BY "LaViolador"* Challenge #3 - Difficulty Easy/Medium - $5 Prize! SOLVED BY "LaViolador"*

How the algorithm works:
Input: Hello

Hello = 5
Info:
Letter chart: A chart of the letters of the alphabet according with the input length
Step2: Letter chart and Input length
(Input Length: abc = 3 |
Letter Chart for 3:
Code abc

pqr
stu
vwx
yz
Hello = 5
Letter Chart for 5:

More Info: Input and Letter Chart
(input length: abc = 3
letter chart for 3:
Code abc
def
ghi
jkl
mno
pqr
stu
vwx
yz
Input = abc
Notice where the letters are in their letter chart "a", "b","c")
Step3: Working with the Input and Letter Chart
(Go down the letter chart of how many the input length is. | a = d, b = h, c = l)
Hello = 5
Letter Chart for 5:
Code abcde
fghij
klmno
pqrst
uvwxy
z
Hello = H down 5 = H, e down 5 = , l down 5 = l, l down 5 = l, o down 5 = o
Output: Hello
Hello is a bad example not because of the words used, but because of how many letters it contains, overall this algorithm is defiantly not the best haha.
*SOLVED BY "deimoo92"* Challenge #4 - Difficulty Medium - $8 Prize! *SOLVED BY "deimoo92"*
Welcome to challenge #4 of this contest!
This challenge is the 2nd hardest of the 5, so take your time!
Completing this challenge will earn you $8 according with the rules!

How the algorithm works:
Input: Hello
Step1: input length (abc = 3)
Hello = 5
Step2: Letter to their Numbers (abc = 1,2,3)
( a=1, b=2, c=3, d=4, e=5,f=6,g=7,h=8,i=9,j=10,k=11,l=12,m=13,n=14,o=15,p=16,q=17,r=18,s=19,t=20,u=21,v=22,w=23,x=24,y=25,z=26)
Hello = 8,5,12,12,15
Step3: Add input length to each character's number (abc = 3 | abc= 1,2,3 | 3+1, 3+2, 3+3 = 4, 5, 6)
8,5,12,12,15 = 8+5,5+5,12+5,12+5,15+5 = 13,10,17,17,20
Step4: Numbers to their Letters (1,2,3 = abc)
(If numbers exceed 26, loop around to the next character. 1 = a, 2 = b, 3 = c... ect 25 = y, 26 = z, 27 = a, 28 = b...ect 52 = z, 53 = a... ect)
13,10,17,17,20 = Mjqqt
Output: Mjqqt

* UPDATE: After analyzing challenge #5 some more, i have realized their are two ways to go about encoding it (For Precision or Obscurity). For this challenge, it was for obscurity... meaning it's a bit more tricky! Nevertheless, it is still solvable/decode-able! :D
To encode & decode Challenge #5 you will need a chart/map or some other way of doing it that im unaware of haha.
Of this chart/map, it is a variation of Vigenère Cipher... you will need to just strip off the top row & the left column :]
Now i also said it had a twist to it (this is encoding, not encryption, meaning no passwords but i guess since it involves using the Vigenère Cipher, you can think of the input as it's own password. ;)
Depending on how these go will determine if i'll release another hint. :D
Good luck to all! :D *
Good luck on this challenge and remember to follow the format when you're making your post/entry! 👍
How the algorithm works:
Not enough room to post it on the thread, so i posted it on PasteBin. Enjoy! haha

Hope you all enjoy these contests! Good luck to all of you on this one & let the best crackers win! 🎉
(next contest will have way bigger $prizes$! 🤗👍)

That makes two of us. I have also been trying random guess work and feel I have it half solved :(
