My ISP is blocking HF's CDN !? - xitoxic - May 12, 2013

From 5-6 days , I am not able to browse HF via my Laptop over Wifi ( just keeps on loading or loads with a white background and no images) , It works well on my iphone and whenever i make a portable hotspot with it on my laptop.

I tried contacting a staff member , he said that My ISP is blocking the HF cdn server, can anyone help me with this issue? :(

Have you cleared your browser cache?

* - xitoxic - May 12, 2013

yes, I have cleared the cache many times, used a different browser and flushed the DNS too, still no solution.

I know it may sound redundant but have you tried resetting your router? Turn it off and leave it off for 5 minutes then turn back on.

When your phone is on your home's wifi, HF loads, correct?

I'm in Canada, and I'm firewalled on my other network. It seems the sites beenhaving a bit of ttrouble lately.

Wondering what ISP you are using?

I would contact them if you can't get it resolved.

I was having the same issues the other day.

It may not be on your end.

Maybe try using a different web browser? See if that resolves the problem?

Have you checked your hosts file to make sure something you downloaded didn't block your PC from accessing it?

C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts
