C++ 11 compiler for Windows - Crake - May 29, 2013 I seem to be SOL, any ideas? I need a free (preferably elegant) C++ compiler with C++ 11 support for Windows. * - Sajuuk - May 29, 2013 CodeBlocks, NetBeans, VC++, there are many options. * - fstream - May 29, 2013 (May 29, 2013 04:09 PM)emanb29 Wrote: I seem to be SOL, any ideas? Anyways your options are GCC, Microsoft's Compiler, Intel Compiler. I'd stick to GCC and you can use Code::Blocks as the IDE. * - notsteve - May 29, 2013 Visual Studio Express has the best IDE, code::blocks is opensource afaik but isn't quite as elegant. read: I'm weak and like to have autocompletion in the name of productivity * - Crake - May 29, 2013 Yes, I meant compiler. Sorry about that! Mingw work for this? * - fstream - May 29, 2013 (May 29, 2013 04:29 PM)emanb29 Wrote: Yes, I meant compiler. Sorry about that! Mingw work for this? Yup you just compile with -std=c++0x in the command line. * - Crake - May 29, 2013 (May 29, 2013 04:40 PM)fstream Wrote: Yup you just compile with -std=c++0x in the command line. Thanks!
