What are the cool stuff in hacking? - wasab1z - Jun 5, 2013 I always wanted to know what you can achieve if you learn programing? I know a few stuff that are interesting like Keyloggers, Wireless hacking, Brute force, but what else? Are the stuff they do in the movies actually possible? With the street cam hacks? hacking into a building database and opening the gate? what would one have to learn in order to achieve these task? What other cool stuff can hacking do? What type of programing would one have to learn? - because i know youll have to learn programing, java, and http, but do they all have to know those type of language? If anyone would like to explain these question to me on skype it would be nice, and if anyone want to tell me their stories of them doing some epic hacking and how they start i would like to know too. thanks * - logging*machine - Jun 5, 2013 Most of the stuff in movies can be achieved, like hacking gates only if the gates send some sort of packet to another connection to check if it's a correct value. to hack databases, learn how to SQLi Languages, learn Batch, very great and powerful language. * - Turtle™ - Jun 5, 2013 (Jun 5, 2013 09:06 PM)Sunlight Wrote: Most of the stuff in movies can be achieved, like hacking gates only if the gates send some sort of packet to another connection to check if it's a correct value. I disagree. In my opinion, Batch is very very limited and on top of that, it can only be run on Windows operating systems. * - velox - Jun 5, 2013 I'd love to do what they do in the movies. You'd feel like THEE ultimate badass haha on topic though: I'm sure it's possible but you'd need to break into their internal systems and override from there. Idk.. * - Flaaffy - Jun 5, 2013 (Jun 5, 2013 09:06 PM)Sunlight Wrote: Most of the stuff in movies can be achieved, like hacking gates only if the gates send some sort of packet to another connection to check if it's a correct value. > batch > powerful great language > only for windows > goto do i need to say more? * - DiamondHacking - Jun 6, 2013 (Jun 5, 2013 09:03 PM)wasab1z Wrote: I always wanted to know what you can achieve if you learn programing? I have a thread about to access security cameras here: https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=3441479 And here are a list of a few tools you might find helpful for "Hacking": https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=3524835 Hope they help you :D * - ifconfig - Jun 6, 2013 Anything is possible. Weather it's realistic or not is another matter. But anything is hackable. I remember when I first started programming, it was this intimidating super hacker art language made of 0's and 1's. But really it's just writing instructions for a computer to follow. Plus when you know how to code you feel this sense of entitlement and superiority over others who don't know how to program. I jk. :P Hacking and programming are related, but being a programmer doesn't make you a hacker. Although programming is and can be used in "hacking". Richard Stallman defines hacking as being "Playful cleverness"... So i guess we're all hackers in one way or another. * - muzzy. - Jun 6, 2013 Just like IRL, anything that has built can be tampered with or destroyed. If you get good at it, eventually you'll be able to do anything. Becoming a hacker is a long and hard road. First off, you'll need to learn the following programming languages. Although you'll pick up more later, these ones will be fundamental, and can be built on with other languages: Visual basic. C/C++ Java PHP Batch Although 'hacking' covers many different fields, having a solid understanding of these programming languages will advance your knowledge in the field of computing far enough to be able to understand more or less every other field much easier than you would have. Next, you'll need to learn at least basic networking. Learning how computers interact is VITAL in going down the road of a hacker. Networking. You'll then want to pick up the basics of RATting, DDoSing, using a java drive by and crypting. Although these aren't actual hacking, they're useful utilities and skills to learn that will allow you to easily kick someone offline or infect them with a virus. RATting. Crypting. DDoSing. Java drive by. Want to learn to hack sites? SQLi and XSS are a great place to start. SQLi XSS Any further question will be answered here: Click me <3 Also, look around the web for social engineering techniques. Discussion of SE isn't allowed here, so you'll have to look elsewhere. Good luck! * - wasab1z - Jun 8, 2013 Thank you guys so much for all the information. This is what i needed to begin my training. This is website is a very helpful forum. |
