EDIT: Because of the mass flames. Suggestions are very welcome. I do not want to show off anything, simply needed/need advice on some parts. I do not aim to build the best fast ass pc or anything, nor the most costy. Now here I'm adding pictures of single parts. WARNING HIGH RES PICS! I recommend http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835608041 Change PSU to Silverstone 1000w silver Get a 780 from the money saved with the CPU Get a samsung 840 pro 128GB * - ProfoundZeus™ - Jun 11, 2013 (Jun 11, 2013 01:54 PM)Skeptiks Wrote: Case is all preference so i'll leave that be Mobo - I'm pretty sure about the mobo, I've had good experiences with the ROG series so far. Also it supports only 3-way SLI and 32GB RAM. CPU - I'm pretty sure about that too. I always buy top of the top currently available, and since the Haswell extremes aren't out yet i'll go with this. Cooler - Hmm no really sure, I liked mine more, as there is more space in the case then SSD - samsung 840 Pro 128GB, thanks! EDIT: Also just found a really good offer for this at my retailer! * - Muddaland - Jun 11, 2013 Get a Samsung or Intel SSD, set it as your boot drive. Why don't you go for custom watercooling? Get one of those kits (XSPC), custom is much better than H100i. Or if you don't want a custom loop, get a ThermalTake Water 2.0 Extreme, it'll get you few degrees cooler, I've tested. RAM is fine, but if you want cool looks, take a look at the Crucial Ballistix Tactical Tracer. And for the PSU, go with a Corsair one or a Silverstone. Much better and more stable. If you got anymore questions, feel free to PM me! * - ProfoundZeus™ - Jun 11, 2013 (Jun 11, 2013 02:09 PM)t3chie Wrote: Get a Samsung or Intel SSD, set it as your boot drive. ThermalTake Water 2.0 Extreme, can't get that either its discountinued :/ PSU, Im thinking of changing that as the last CM went bad for me * - Aesthetics - Jun 12, 2013 (Jun 11, 2013 11:26 PM)ProfoundZeus™ Wrote: I would really like to go for XSPC but its hard to get them for me. Who cares if it's hard, that's how you learn. I had no knowledge what so ever on watercooling; yet I manage to build a great watercooling loop ad learnt shit load of stuff along with it. * - ProfoundZeus™ - Jun 12, 2013 (Jun 12, 2013 12:19 AM)Aesthetics Wrote: Who cares if it's hard, that's how you learn. Read again please Quote:hard to get them for me I wasn't referring to the using part. I was referring to the buying part. EDIT: Pmed you :D * - 'Snorlax - Jun 12, 2013 Wait what. You want to go with GTX 570 in SLI with that build? If you're a gamer, don't go easy on those graphic cards... Just go ahead and get something better already. Like the GTX 780 or GTX 690. * - ProfoundZeus™ - Jun 12, 2013 (Jun 12, 2013 04:54 AM)Snorlax Wrote: Wait what. You want to go with GTX 570 in SLI with that build? No, just waiting for a specific version to come to my retailer. Ofc i'll go with a 2x GTX 780's :) Also decided on watercooling. Getting XSPC RayStorm 750 RS360 (V4 Pump) WaterCooling Kit * - Aldo. - Jun 12, 2013 (Jun 11, 2013 01:54 PM)Skeptiks Wrote: Case is all preference so i'll leave that be He wants a monster build man, so that i5 wont cut. This is why hes going for the 6 Core i7 even tho he can get the non extreme and save about $500 * - RA4W - Jun 12, 2013 This is a real monster, and in my opinion i like Asus boards the most :). Been using them in all my builds * - Ramsay448 - Jun 12, 2013 Swap the i7 Extreme for a Pentium. 2 780's? Shit cards. Go with 2 8800GT's. 8GB RAM is enough. Get a 450W XFX Power Supply. Itll rape the build you want to get. * - ProfoundZeus™ - Jun 12, 2013 (Jun 12, 2013 05:44 AM)RA4W Wrote: This is a real monster, and in my opinion i like Asus boards the most :). Been using them in all my builds Same here, ROG series enthusiast. @Aldo. Exactly. I was to close to a similar choice on my current build. Either a i7-990X for $1k or an i7-2600K which is a step lower than that for half the price. Got the i7-990X :) @Mark Webber Nah * - Aldo. - Jun 12, 2013 (Jun 12, 2013 05:52 AM)ProfoundZeus™ Wrote: @Aldo.
