I've seen a lot of people claiming to be a hacker, some get called a hacker for using cheats in a game (DL and inject).

A hacker is a person who breaks into a database of sort and steals account/causes grief.
People who inject shit into their games and cheat are called cheaters.

Personally myself, I'm no hacker, I just like to have fun. But in all honesty I would say a hacker doesn't define themselves as what the modern day would define as a hacker, they do what they do because they need and/or want something for reason, not for shits and gigs or to dominate over others.

A real hacker wouldn't call himself a hacker but those who do a chump. For example, Anonymous, they call themselves Hacktivists yes but they strive for change and human rights. They don't waste their time on games because they have bigger fish to fry.

Well by deffinition a hacker is a grey hat term meaning both good and bad come out of them versus a cracker whos sole purpose is to please only there needs by destroying manipulating and stealing.

There's no exact meaning of it anylonger since a kid with a stresser call themself a hacker too.
Would say "hacking" is being able to get into networks and retrieve the info you need by breaking through diffrent defence systems.

Being a "hacker" isn't a profession, if you went on Habbo and stole some people's accounts, then you'd be classed as a "hacker".
