[GUIDE] DarkComet Problems and their Solutions! [GUIDE] - DopedUp - Jun 15, 2013
Welcome to my latest tutorial! In this tutorial I will go through the most common through to the most rarest of 'DarkComet' problems, bugs and their fixes.
When you are getting the famous 'DarkComet' RAT, I recommend getting the 3.2 version. You may be wondering why because that is one of the oldest of 'DarkComet', but it is because it is the most stable and reliable of all DC versions! So let's begin with this guide!
1.) Port Forwarding!
This is probably the most common problem people face while setting up DC, this is either because:
*They do not know how to Port Forward.
*They have their Windows Firewall on, or any other Firewall software on.
*Or they are using a VPN, which is blocking the ports.
Port Forwarding Solution!
You can use the following solutions:
*Turn of Windows Firewall, and any other Firewall Services!
*Turn of Anti Virus while Ratting
*Read a tutorial on how to Port Forward!
*Test to see if your port is open on: www.CanYouSeeMe.org
2.) Password!
Many people choose the DarkComet Security Password option!
I don't because it just creates problems!
[/b]Password Solution![/b]
You can use the following solutions:
*Simply don't use a password (easiest)
*Make sure the same password is in the client settings aswell!
3.) Connection!
When you test your connection on the client it says:
LAN (Local Area Network) is successful, No-Ip Host is unable to connect!
Connection Solution!
You can use the following solutions:
*If step one is working correctly, skip this bug. It is in no importance to you!
*Use a VPN, with Port Forward support!
4.)Server Spreading!
Whenever you spread your server to your Slaves, after one day or after the Slave turns of their computer, they are put of the Connections!

You can use the following solutions:
*When you are crypting you server (making it FUD, Fully Undetectable by anti-virus) make sure you have the 'Start Up' box or tab checked!
5.)Connection Glitch!
Your connections/slaves appear in the 'Socket' tab, not the 'Connections' tab!

You can use the following solutions:
*This is a bug of DC, to fix it try, disabling the password!
*Make sure your using DC version 3.2![/size][/b]
6.)Rat testing on yourself!
When you try and test your rat on your own computer it will not work!?

You can use the following solutions:
*Make sure both the security and client passwords match! If using a password.
*Use a VPN! (With port forward support)
7.)Slave Loss!
Do your slaves disappear of your connections?
Slave Loss Solution!
You can use the following solutions:
*The crypter you used to make your RAT FUD, has most likely been detected! Re-crypt your RAT and put it back on your Slaves PC!
8.)Update Server on you Slaves!
Wondering how to update the new server on your slaves?
Updating Server Solution!
You can use the following solutions:
*To do this in the bottom tab go to On Connect-> command (Update Server) -> Add and Configure the Task -> Give any name -> Enter the direct link of your server.
9.)Send Slaves to others!
Want to help your mate out, double up on one slave? Read the solution!
Sending Slaves Solution!
You can use the following solutions:
*To do this in the bottom tab go to Connections->select your slaves and right click->Extra broadcast commands->mass download->Enter the other server direct link which you would like to spread.
10.)Recommended Port!
Ever wanted to know which port is best to use for DC?
Recommended Port Solution!
You can use the following solutions:
*The default 'port' is best: 1604
11.)DC Only Working on XP?
Do you seem to find that DC only works on XP Slaves?
DC Only Working on XP Solution!
You can use the following solutions:
*Update to the latest DC Client!
*When crypting, make sure you use a crypter with UAC Bypass, and check it! Also change install directory to AppData, not WinLogon!

I have something that may help. If you've infected yourself after ticking hide files with attributes, you will not be able to find the file. Whether it'd be the startup file or the file that is executed to begin with. You'll need this cmd code I found:
attrib -r -s -a -h file name /s /d
You'll need to navigate to the folder in where the hidden file is, in cmd. After that you will slap in that code and bam! The file is no longer hidden. PM me if you need further help with this.

hi i need help, whenever i try to view their desktop or look at their passwords, look at what PC they are using or ANYTHING, before it actually shows me anything they disapear and eventually come back later but with the same problem. i am currently using DC 5.3, can someone please help me :(

i have a problem with the connectoin and can't see the solution here :S i use DUC clien 4.1.0 with host in no-ip and DC 5.3 the port is forwareded sucsessful (everything is ok) whet i test it on my pc (laptop win7 64bit) with 127.0.0.1 everything is ok but when i test the stub on other PC with no-ip host or in anubis there is no connection (no victim on my dc with 2 words nothings happend ) how can i fix it :S my AV and firewall are shutdown :((( i will be verry aprishieid if somebody can help me its verry important for me !!! sorry for my bad english
and one thing more im with fiberoptic internet i dont know if this can make some problems
