Nessus is better in my opinion but but both are very loud. Better do it manually

Using both is always an option even if it is quite loud

Loud means it creates ways to be noticed by the server/admin/whatever. It goes balls to the wall and doesn't care if it gets noticed on the other end, basically

Manual is definitely a better choice, No point in trynna be silent if you're loud af, thats like trynna break into a house while playing a trumpet when the cops are outside, pointless.

2 answers, Nessus is pretty great at checking everything based on proper rules based on PCI certifications ect. Acunetix is nice for a quick scan checking all the default boxes without having to have any actual knowledge of what's going on behind the scanner. Both come in as subpar compared to a proper pentester doing his job correctly.

For pentesting your own system I prefer nessus. Although you should not use it on systems you trying to break into, as it doesn't care to be silent.

I personally like Nessus the best for quick and dirty stuff. Being too loud especially if your connected to a network via wifi i've noticed causes routers to disconnect. If there was a stealth mode, it would be a really sweet t00l.
