Lannister [Progression] - TwigX - Jul 16, 2013 So this is probably the first thing I have done in Illustrator which I am extremely new to so I wanted to play around in it. I created the lion from a tutorial which I will link at the bottom if you want to have a go. Took me ages just to follow the tutorial due to me being new to Illustrator. Signature type: Can you rate and suggest improvements or provide links or tutorials which you found useful. I have a lot of time off so I would like to start using Illustrator a lot more. Many thanks :) Credits to: Tutorial Edit: Added 800x800 image. * - Invisus - Jul 16, 2013 I like it. You did follow a tutorial so it was just copying, but you did a great job. Be creative and make your own now that you have learned a bit, I would love to see your own. But this is a pretty good job. If you had not followed a tutorial I would've said it was amazing, knowing how tricky lions can be to vector. * - Bad Meets Evil - Jul 16, 2013 Nice to see you learning to vector. Keep on working with it and try to create your own unique concepts. * - Diesel Flynn - Jul 17, 2013 I always loved this 2D illustrator style, I like it! * - alex_dark1932 - Jul 17, 2013 Really great for your first illustration, clearly you got the hang of it, It looks Heavenly. You have great potential 👍 * - TwigX - Jul 17, 2013 (Jul 16, 2013 06:06 PM)Invisus Wrote: I like it. You did follow a tutorial so it was just copying, but you did a great job. I'm thinking a "metro" style medieval banner. trying to keep the GoT theme going. (Jul 16, 2013 11:39 PM)Bad Meets Evil Wrote: Nice to see you learning to vector. Once I get a better feel of the tools in AI I'll hopefully start working on my own concepts (Jul 17, 2013 03:01 AM)Diesel Flynn Wrote: I always loved this 2D illustrator style, I like it!
