List of Secure VPN's - Stop Buying Garbage Sold Here - DООM! - Jul 23, 2013 Every single day I come across discussions about VPN's and what is really secure; And every single day I come across different vendors with a VPS and an OpenVPN installation attempting to offer them security. Maybe it's some hidden goal some of you have, to see how many different HF members who can get arrested, but it's incredibly frustrating and mildly infuriating coming into these threads and seeing all the ill advice... It's gotta stop. I've kept a list of strong VPN's I've used and have come to trust, and I'm willing to share it to try and steer some of you away from the bs found around here. I will not list VPN's that do not offer an anonymous form of payment. I am only listing locations I recommend using. Most of these VPN's offer more locations than I have provided, but due to data retention laws those locations may not be entirely secure. This topic is not intended for those simply trying to mask their IP's to ban evade, avoid attack, etc. Most any VPN is fine for those purposes. As most of you already know, a VPN should not be you only line of defense, nor is it likely to find a VPN that is truly logless back to the DC level. Post here or PM me if you have a reason why one of the below VPN's shouldn't be included. Idk if it's secretly a goal of members to see if they can get fellow members arrested, but it's gotta stop. Amen to this.. And thank you. 🤗
* - Sleazy P. Martini - Jul 23, 2013 Quick question: Which one of them do you prefer out of that list? OT: Nice list, Will take alook around. * - DООM! - Jul 23, 2013 (Jul 23, 2013 12:40 PM)Richard Z. Kruspe Wrote: Quick question: Which one of them do you prefer out of that list? SuperPowerVPN was my favorite when I frequently used a VPN. BlackVPN and Proxy.sh have both been suitable replacements for a VPN w/ many locations. PRQ.se I've always felt secure with as they will literally fight for your privacy, but you pay a lot more for lower speeds. * - Leaving forever - Jul 23, 2013 None of them are keeping logs? Or did I miss something? * - Sleazy P. Martini - Jul 23, 2013 (Jul 23, 2013 12:42 PM)Citizen Snips Wrote: SuperPowerVPN was my favorite when I frequently used a VPN. I've been looking at Proxy.sh for abit, I might give that ago. * - DООM! - Jul 23, 2013 (Jul 23, 2013 12:44 PM)Syphox Wrote: None of them are keeping logs? Or did I miss something? To my knowledge, no logs. These companies have all been interviewed by numerous bloggers and researchers, and all claim to keep no logs on offshore servers. If a VPN provider offers a US location though, for example, by law they need to retain some data, so just make sure you're using the correct locations. Need to afk for a bit, I'll answer follow up questions when I'm back. * - xx claws xx - Jul 23, 2013 (Jul 23, 2013 12:56 PM)| ZooT | Wrote: You can also just get a $3/m VPS from VMBox.Co and set up your own so you don't have to share! Might look into some . * - ๖ۣۜMephobia - Jul 23, 2013 Why don't you have NVPN on there. I have been using it for a while and I love it. I even got a dynamic IP with it so my IP changes every time I disconnect and reconnect. * - Dan. - Jul 23, 2013 I fail to see why people use any kind of HF ran hosting. * - Rozyn - Jul 23, 2013 (Jul 23, 2013 01:29 PM)๖ۣۜMephobia Wrote: Why don't you have NVPN on there. He must consider it an HF VPN because it is advertised here. nVPN, is an exception in my books though. * - Sleazy P.
