You Have One Page/Screenshot to Convince Someone to View a Manga/Anime - oneechan - Jul 23, 2013

Well, I got this from /a/. It's a simple idea. You post ONE page of your manga to hopefully convince everyone else to read it. Modified to include anime as well for HF. Anyway, I've been getting a LOT of good series from these threads and I figured maybe we can try that here.

Might even spice up your anime life if you've been stuck on the same stuff recently. Feel free to post as much as you want as long as it isn't double posting or something, BUT try not to post the popular titles. We know about them already...they're popular, try to post series that are at least moderately unknown.

Hopefully should get you guys discovering some new manga/series and we can have some fun with this. Though, unlike /a/, please be sure to post your image's series title or even put a link or something. Should help someone out if they actually decide to read your series.

@Phaxol Actually heard about that series before, and I've had it on my backlog for a a while, but that GIF is pretty enticing now to make me watch it. XD

I highly recommend it :) It's not deep or anything, just slice of life comedy.

Uggghhh that anime almost had me crying man tears. I really hope that there will be a season 2 though. I CBA to read the manga. But if I decide to do so can someone tell me where the anime left off?

The OP managed to convince me to start reading Gakkou Gurashi. Sadly it's only been translated up to chapter 6, excluding the random 14th one.
Honestly, it doesn't really hold a candle to other similarly-themed titles such as I am a Hero. Yet, anyway. But at least it's taking itself seriously.

Nice to see you got something out of this thread. Indeed it seems a bit less than others, but it doesn't seem to wanna be that kind of series anyway. Kinda mixes cuteness with a bit of seriousness...and a nice bit of it with the whole charade thing.
