Welcome to my short tutorial on how to take ownership of a file or folder that appears on your harddrive and you are not allowed to remove it.
No matter if its a system file or if a complicated form of malware - this will allow you to give your computer the power it needs to take over - and remove it if necessary.

Steps
Download the script
Run the script as administrator (One time)
Enjoy.
Download InstallTakeOwnership.reg

After you run the script, once you right-click on a file or a folder, you'll have a new option called "Take Ownership", click it.

I've updated the screenshot of what it will do when run on a large folder.
It moves very fast and will only take a few moments to complete, usually instantly if a small folder.
Right click the folder you want (Virus, TrustedInstaller, broken installation file) and take ownership of it. Then you are free to remove it and delete it/shred it.

This .reg modification script have been around for ages. Everyone can download it, so Noodle didn't steal anything.
