(Help) Malware Bytes Anti-Malware Messed Up! - nick_wright_204 - Aug 23, 2013 I have Malware Bytes Anti-Malware and its not working I tested it with my own RAT it did not delete it. And I have the PRO version and protection is on. Also in the lower right corner were the time is the Malware Bytes notify icon is not showing up even when its open and I also added it to start up. I have tryed un-installing then re-installing I used regedit, %appdata$ %temp% and of course Program Files. Nothing has worked! Is their a soulution for this? If so that would help alot. Thank's in advice. Just PM me or something if you think you can help. * - im abcd - Aug 23, 2013 Try a complete uninstallation of MalwareBytes using Revo Uninstaller. Then install it again and check if the problem persists. Also to check if your protection is working real time, go through this article and follow the instructions. Regards, Abcd. * - nick_wright_204 - Aug 23, 2013 Thank's I will give it a try and tell you if it works :) * - Gustav. - Aug 23, 2013 (Aug 23, 2013 03:36 AM)nick_wright_204 Wrote: I have Malware Bytes Anti-Malware and its not working I tested it with my own RAT it did not delete it. Your RAT must be FUD which means it wouldn't be able to detect while undergoing a scan therefor you won't be able to remove it. You need to locate your Remote administrator tool & remove it manually, and continue to follow ABCD's post on regarding your trouble with malwarebytes. take care 😉 |
